Photography as a Daily Practice is a 3-week workshop focused on slowing down, noticing intentionally, and building a personal photographic voice. This class is completely non-technical and non-camera-based in the room — all image-making happens outside class through simple weekly prompts. All cameras welcome (including phones).
During class, we explore:
how to see instead of simply look
how photographers throughout history have approached quiet observation
how subtle moments carry mood and meaning
image editing, refining, and sequencing
Students leave with:
a clearer photographic voice
stronger instincts for composition
learn about well known photographers’ practice
confidence in observing everyday life
a refined set 10 - 15 (5×7) prints
