The Practice of Mark-Making: Gestures, Repetition & Attention is a drawing centered workshop on  gestures, lines, loops, and repeated marks as a way to slow down and reconnect with making. This is not a technical drawing class; it’s an expressive one. Agnes Martin, Cy Twombly, Emma Kunz, Eva Hesse, Vija Celmins, and Mira Schendel will be our guides to better understand how marks become language.

All materials included: 8.5×11in soft cover sketchbook, Professional Sketching set (12b - 4h), black oil pencil, easer + blender
