This 3 hour workshop offers a hands-on introduction to the basics of handmade bookmaking. Participants will be guided through a few simple, repeatable book techniques and learn how different folds and bindings shape the way a book is held, opened, and read.
During the session, you’ll create a finished handmade book using provided materials and gain familiarity with tools and techniques that can be used beyond the class.
All materials are provided.
Participants will leave with a completed book and a small set of tools to continue bookmaking on their own.
