Elizabeth Mihaltse Lindy | AN OFFERING OF GRAVITY AND GRACE

Elizabeth Mihaltse Lindy's work embodies the tension between fragility and strength in the physical, emotional, and spiritual body—particularly the resilience of the female body as a vessel for grief and care. In her first solo exhibition, Lindy invites viewers into a quiet space for contemplation, offering a place to hold the layered emotions that accompany care, loss, and transformation. The works on view—artifacts of her performative ritual—trace the cyclical nature of grief and the ephemeral imprint of presence. Through this gathering of forms, she offers a moment of pause—an opportunity to acknowledge grief in its many manifestations, from personal and collective sorrow to the uncertainty of change.
