Part-time / Satellite Membership

The Super Secret Projects - Part-time, Satellite Membership is designed to give artist the opportunity to show work and collaborate with artists outside of their current community and/or participation without as many obligation to the project. This membership will create a space that fosters community between local Beacon artists and non-local/part-time artists. This will allow a larger pool of artists who can influence, collaborate and learn from one another.

  • Exhibition Opportunities

    • Participation in 4 Group Shows + 1 Online show

    • Sell work on the Super Secret Projects website

    • No obligation to sit for shows

Membership Dues

  • Membership Dues are used for rent, staff, upkeep of the space, the website and other Super Secret Projects related expenses.

    • One-time $30 fee to contribute to community materials like paint and hanging

    • $75 a month

    • 12 month contract (auto-pay)

    • Membership dues are set as a recurring payments.

Member Expectations

  • As a Satellite member you would:

    • Be excited to be apart of a new artist community

    • Work remotely with the Beacon artists to help maintain digital aspects of the collective. (part-time members

    • Participation in group exhibitions or 2 person shows (4+ shows a year)

    • Timely payment of membership dues

    • Attendance to quarterly meetings

    • Fulfillment of assigned duties

Mission

Super Secret Projects’ mission is to generate opportunities for dedicated emerging and mid-career artists to experiment, learn, share and collaborate, through exhibitions and installations. With Super Secret Projects, we aim to create an approachable art space that gives its members the ability to create freely, outside of the commercial gallery structure. Hopefully, making art more inclusive and accessible within the community at large.
